Medicine Cabinet Organizing Hacks
With the many stored medicines in your cabinet, it will be a bit of a hassle when you need to pick a specific medicine, but you get different ones in several attempts. As your neighbor pharmacy, we want to give you some tips on how to organize your medicine cabinet.
- Use color-coding.
Give different colors to the containers to determine what’s for the kids and what’s for adults. You may also separate the vitamins from the over-the-counter medicines you’ve bought from a reliable and low-cost pharmacy in.
- Label each container.
Separate each medicine according to labels. Name the container and put a note of its use and dosage. This is especially important for your senior loved ones. You may also indicate if they are customized medicines from a family-friendly compounding pharmacy.
- Clean the cabinet regularly.
Check the cabinet from time to time, not only to wipe out the dirt or dust but also to get rid of expired medicines. Be sure to safely and carefully dispose of the expired or damaged capsules, tablets, or bottled medicine.
